Elevated Garden Beds
Similar to our Raised Beds, Elevated Beds have many advantages - the most popular being no more sore knees or sore backs from bending or kneeling in your garden. Your garden is now at waist height. Perfect for standing or sitting while you garden. Even those in a wheelchair can now garden again. Beds are dinning table height, 30 inches, for all day gardening comfort and extra deep planting depth of 11 inches for all vegetables types.

Designed specifically for anyone with knee troubles, back troubles or for anyone in a wheelchair, allowing them to continue gardening at home. Simple assembly takes about 30 minutes at most and requires a cordless drill with screw bit or a strong wrist and manual screwdriver. We designed these to help a family member that became wheelchair bound due to chemotherapy and was no longer able to garden. We discovered elevated beds are a great choice for anyone with mobility troubles (bad back, bad knees) or to keep pesky animals out of your garden.
Why Cedar Is The Best Choice
Cedar for your garden is by far the best choice. Naturally rot and decay resistant, long outlasting anything made from spruce, fir or pine. We are often asked how long our elevated beds will last? My own family garden beds are made from these same materials and are going on 12+ years without a single issue. Another advantage of cedar over beds made from synthetic/plastic decking boards, if cedar will not become brittle, chip or crack over time. However the biggest reason is the fact that our cedar materials are all natural, untreated and perfect for growing organic vegetables. There is nothing worse for an organic garden than using treated lumber or worse yet, railroad ties. If you plan is to grow healthy organic produce for your family, you need to start with organic materials.

We have secured a new supplier and are excited to offer our products again. We are now using cedar that is kiln dried and planed on both side for smooth surfaces. Our new materials are 1" thick instead of being 3/4" thick for sturdier beds and longer life. *panels may contain loose knots or small knot holes, log peeling marks, or other mill blemishes. Blemishes don't effect the life of the beds and are turned inwards so not visible when filled with soil.
