Why Cedar Is The Best Choice
Cedar for your garden is by far the best choice. Naturally rot and decay resistant, long outlasting anything made from spruce, fir or pine. We are often asked how long our raised beds will last? My own family garden beds are made from these same materials and are going on 12+ years without a single issue. Another advantage of cedar over beds made from synthetic/plastic decking boards, cedar will not become brittle, chip or crack over time. However the biggest reason is the fact that our cedar materials are all natural, untreated and perfect for growing organic vegetables. There is nothing worse for an organic garden than using treated lumber or worse, railroad ties. If you plan is to grow healthy organic produce for your family, you need to start with organic materials.

We have secured a new supplier and are excited to offer our products again. We are now using cedar that is kiln dried and planed on both side for smooth surfaces. Our new materials are 1" thick instead of being 3/4" thick for sturdier beds and longer life. *panels may contain loose knots or small knot holes, log peeling marks, or other mill blemishes. Blemishes don't effect the life of the beds and are turned inwards so not visible when filled with soil.

All beds have 12" of planting depth. Bed measurements are exterior dimensions
Assembly Required:
All garden beds are shipped "Ikea" style via FedEx*. The only tools required is a drill (corded or cordless) and Phillips bit. All screw locations are pre-drilled on the end panel for easy assembly. If you can place a screw in a hole and drive it flush with a drill, you can assembly these kits.
The end panels will overlap the side panels, see photo to left and note how side panel is flush on the "inside" of end panel with screws. This ensure the screws have plenty of materials to grab.
*panels are shipped without boxes, they are stacked and wrapped with packing wrap and tape to secure the pieces together, 'bumps and bruising' may occur during transit. If sever damage occurs take photos and contact us right away
